Jin and Zoë’s relationship is going all too well. It’s now, their first Christmas holiday together. Zoë’s dad will also come to visit his daughter as well as meet Jin. Jin decided to move back to his parents house to give the father and daughter private time, it won’t be a long separation though since her dad will only be visiting for 3 days and the day after Christmas her father will be going back home.

“Dad!” Zoë called out to the man walking out of the arrival area. It was two days before Christmas.

“Hi Sweetie!” Zoë was pulled into a bear hug. “I miss you”

“Missed you too Dad.” Zoë kissed her dad.

Their relationship has always been close. Since her mother died, her dad had raised her alone despite being a busy man, he always find time to play with her. That’s why when she decided to work and live in Japan their relatives were shocked. Zoë has always been her dad’s baby and maybe one reason he didn’t remarry after his wife died. Her decision to move be independent from her dad surprised them. But still her dad supported her decision even though it would mean they won’t see each other as often as before. For that she was thankful to her old man, all the sacrifices he made for her without grudges. There was a time when she told her dad to find someone to marry but he told her that there is only one person who was really meant to each and every one of us. For him it’s her mom too bad she passed away too soon. The love that her parents shared was enough for her dad to go on with his life; he told her that her happiness is his own as well.

“How’s business?” she asked.

“It’s going on well, Charlene is left in-charged for a few days. Well, how are you here? Where’s that Jin guy who took you away from me?”

“I’m doing good. About my work, everything is well, you know I won an award and there are special works assigned to me. As for Jin, he’s still at work. They have rehearsals for the year-end countdown. You’ll be meeting him tomorrow”

“He has work when it’s already 2 days before Christmas?”

“He’s an idol, he rarely have time for vacation. But we’ll be spending the Christmas Eve with him. In fact, his parents invited us to their house to spend Christmas Eve.”

“Well, as you wish. I was hoping to meet him today but under those circumstances I guess there’s nothing I can do. So tomorrow we’ll be meeting his parents? We should buy something for them. What do you think they’ll like?”

“Dad, don’t panic. I’ve got everything settled. I’ll let you rest first then, at noon, we’ll go shopping. By the way did you bring the red wine I asked you? That’s our present to his parents.”

“I did and it took my secretary sometime to find that wine.”

“Oh come on dad, it’s not that hard to find. Nonna called me and told me she send the wine together with your shipment.”

“Busted!”

“That you are. I know you won’t have a hard time getting the wine it’s from our own vineyard anyway.”

“I’m going to unpack first and we’ll go out after. You’re still not done with you Christmas shopping? You’re being lazy. You’re not like that back home”

“Dad, I’m working now so time is limited. Besides, I have to go to Hokkaido to do some shoots; I didn’t have time to shop until today. And I know you would like to shop for some gifts to your staffs I thought maybe we can do some Christmas shopping together.”

“You’re right. Help me buy some things okay. Your cousins have sent me long list of their Christmas wishes. They told me to go to Roppongi and Shibuya and also Ginza.”

“Okay. I’ll bring you there. But you have to get rested first because I’m sure there are lots of late shoppers like us. The mall maybe crowded”

Her father is unpacking in his room when her cell phone rang. It’s her dear koibito.

“Hello, baby! Miss me already?”

“Maa. You’re dad is there already?”

“Yes, he’s in the room unpacking and resting for awhile. We’ll catch late lunch in Roppongi later. And do some shopping as well.”

“I missed you already even though we saw each other this morning. I’ll miss seeing your face when I wake up and before I close my eyes to sleep. I’m going to miss your warmth next to mine when we sleep. And I’m going to miss all the hugs and ki..”

“Babe, it will only be for 3 days don’t worry. And who asked you to move out?” she cut-off Jin’s litany.

“I don’t like to be away but you need sometime alone with your dad. I know you missed him. “

“So don’t complain and babe we’ll still see each other everyday. It’s just that we won’t be sleeping with each other. And we sometimes do that whenever you have a location shoot. So don’t be lonely okay”

“Hmp, you don’t miss me!”

“AKANISHI, BREAK IS OVER.” She heard Koki called Jin in the background.

“You’re wanted already. But for the record, I miss you badly. Love you. Jaa ne.” Zoë ended her boyfriend’s tantrums

“Love you too.”

“GROSS!!” can be heard from the other members in the background

“Shut up. I’m hanging up okay. I’ll see you soon. I still have to filming for Bandage.”

Zoë sighed as she pressed the “End” Button of her phone. She miss Jin already and it not yet 6 hours since they last see each other. For the last 2 months Jin has been busy filming Bandage. But she’s proud of him. Bandage has been a plan since before Jin’s hiatus and the final offer has been made just months ago. So Jin has been busy going to and fro Yokohama and Tokyo.

Father and daughter date….

Zoë excitedly grasped her dad’s hand; they just finished having their late lunch in one of her favorite restaurant in Roppongi Hills, L’Estasi, an Italian restaurant. After eating pizza and pasta they’re off to do their late Christmas shopping. Roppongi Hills is a bit crowded with people doing Christmas shopping.

They spend hours roaming the very expansive shopping complex. It houses several brands both Japanese and international. They entered dress shops, shoes store, jewelry and bags stores and other gifts shops. Her dad told her to buy anything she wants (because he was not able to buy a Christmas gift for her so a shopping spree is his gift to her). Her dad bought her a pair of earrings from Star Jewelry, and a leather bag from Kate Spade New York.

It’s fun to shop with her dad. And she also had fun dressing him. She bought him a new pair of pants and shirt and also a pair of shoes from Birkenstock. After their shopping they went to Roppongi Hills west walk where the Christmas Market was being held. The place has a festive atmosphere with all the Christmas lights and decors as well as the delicious smell of the German sausages and pretzels and other treats that came from Germany. The market boast a wide range of specialty items like Christmas ornaments, picture books, and glass items. The main feature for this Christmas is  a tall, four-layered Christmas pyramid made of wooden figures. There they have their dinner amidst the heartwarming German Christmas atmosphere.

“Have you gone here with Jin? This is a place ideal for couples. Looking around I can see couples holding hands while walking around.”

“Not yet. We can’t go out in places where there are so many people. Jin can’t risked being recognized or else there will be a terrible punishment.”

“That’s unfair for both of you. You deserve to have sweet moments together irregardless of what other people think.”

“That’s one wall we have to deal with. Being an idol does have many privileges but in exchange for those you’re right to privacy is violated. They are allowed to date but they shouldn’t be caught.”

“Well, you can have everything. I just felt bad that you can have a normal relationship like normal people.”

“It’s not that we can’t have a normal relationship. We can, we just have to be careful than other couples.”

“I just thought you deserve better treatment you know. I’m your dad after all.”

“yeah I know. Being with Jin makes me complete. I’m willing to make adjustments to be with him. We can date in other places where he can’t be recognized. We can stay in the house to watch movies. We sometimes go to cinemas too and also in Disneyland. He just had to wear a disguise.”

“Disguise? Like weird wigs? And all that things?”

“No. Wearing elaborate clothing will make him stand more. He just wears a cap and shades just simple disguise.”

“oh. And he can’t be recognized?”

“well, we’re doing good disguising. So far…”

“that’s good to hear. I don’t want you to get busted and have your face printed in newspapers. With all that rude write-ups about you guys. I would feel bad if it happen to you.”

“Don’t worry we’re careful. And these days we don’t always go out since he’s busy with filming and I’m busy with my photo shoots so we have no time to date. Just spend time lazing around the house.”

“lazing huh..”

“dad. Don’t start teasing.”

“so when is the wedding? Well you’re living together right?”

“hmm..”

“Don’t deny it. All the evidence of his presence in the house can be spotted.”

“I’m not hiding anything. We’re living together. I’m not hiding that, we talked about marriage stuffs but I guess we’re not in a hurry to tie knots. The important thing is we enjoyed and love being together. Tying the knots will come maybe later.”

“Okay. As long as you’re happy I won’t get in the way. But if he hurt you in anyway, I will not forgive him.”

Zoë just smiled. She’s confident Jin won’t hurt her.

“Dad, thank you. Thank you for spending Christmas with me. Thank you for your endless love and understanding. I’m thankful to god you’re my dad.” And she hugged her dad.

They went home with big smiles in their faces.

The next day they spend the day driving around Tokyo. By 8 pm. They are ready to go to Akanishi’s house.

Jin was pacing to and fro the living room and his dad was getting dizzy following his son’s movement.

“Jin, will you calm down and sit down. You look like an expectant father waiting outside the delivery room”

“ni-chan, will Zoë bring a cake today?”

“How will I know?” he snapped at his brother

“Hey, no need to get upset. It’s because you’ll be meeting her dad that you’re like that.” His mom told him off.

“Gomen, I’m just nervous; now I know how Zoë felt when she met you guys.”

“It will be okay. You’ve done nothing wrong to her daughter so don’t be afraid of her Dad.” His mom tried to lessen his agitation.

Buzz!!!

“I’ll get the door.” His dad stood up to open it.

“I’ll go with you” Jin walked to the door behind his dad

“Konbanwa!” Zoë greeted Jin’s dad with a big smile on her face. “Merry Christmas!”

“Come on in.”

“Hi, babe.!” Zoë planted a kiss on his cheek that caused him to turn beet red.

“Hi yourself” Jin kissed her back

“Jin, this is my dad, Tony Chen. Dad, my boyfriend, Jin Akanishi”

Jin introduced Mr. Chen to his entire family. Not long after, the Akanishi’s home was filled with happy voices that symbolize the harmony between the two families. Mr. Chen was a cool dad and he found a common ground with his dad, golf. After dinner and almost an hour of chatting Zoë and her father drove home so her father can take a rest.

“Bye, Okaasan, Otousan, Merry Christmas again.” Zoë bid good-bye

“Mom, I’ll drive them home. Zoë and I need to attend the Christmas party at the Ueda’s home. Tat-chan will be hosting this years party so he invited all his friends.”

“Okay so you’re just taking Chen-san home?”

“Hai.”

“Younger generations usually spend time partying during Christmas ne. When Zoë was still in the university she just eats Christmas dinner with me after that she’ll go partying with her friends.”

“Dad!” Zoë’s hand itched to smack her dad’s head for revealing her party-life.

“We have to go now. Babe, I’ll be the one driving. Give me your keys.” Jin told Zoë

“Okay, I’ll be taking the backseat. Dad, you take the passenger seat.”

The drive going home was full of Zoë’s childhood frolics. Not that Zoë mind she knows her father love her so much that those memories they have together will always be something to proud of.

They arrived home.

“Babe, wait for me I’ll just change my purse. And get our exchange gifts.”

After 5 minutes they’re at the door again.

“Dad, don’t wait up for me. I’m sure the party will be until morning.”

“Okay. You two take care. Be careful on driving. Jin, I leave my baby to you.”

“Yes, sir”

Once they have ridden the car, Jin quickly pulled Zoë for a very passionate if not torrid kiss. It feels like years since they last shared a kiss. After the kiss he presented Zoë a small box.

“Merry Christmas!”

“Oh, thank you.” Zoë kiss him again

“Open it.”

“Wait. Here, Merry Christmas too.” Zoë presented Jin a box a little bigger than his.

When they open they’re respective gifts they both have a bright smile in their lips. Zoë gave Jin a new watch; it’s the Bvlgari’s newest limited collection. Jin gave Zoë a Tiffany & Co necklace with snowflake pendant of          diamond.”

“Come here baby, let me put on the necklace for you.”

“Thank you babe.” Zoë again kissed the love of her life.

The adamant ringing of Jin’s hand phone interrupted their sweet moments. It’s Ueda.

 “Hai. We’re on our way.”

“Don’t you forget your presents we will have exchange gifts later. And also don’t forget our gifts.”

“Hai”

“AND JIN STOP MONOPOLIZING ZOË, WE WANT TO SEE HER TOO. NOW, COME ON OVER” Zoë can heard Koki’s ranting in the background.

“We’ll be there in 10 minutes.”

When they arrived carrying their presents, Kame was at the gate waiting for them.

“Kazu-Chan, Merry Christmas!” Zoë flashed him a wide grin.

Jin just rolled his eyes. Him being busy made Kame closer to Zoë, because of photography. Not that he is jealous with Kame but he’s more thankful that his best friend has accepted Zoë as part of their circle. Slowly the other members have become friends with his girlfriend. That’s why he don’t feel awkward bringing her to their gatherings, the member themselves called Zoë to invite her. Being with Zoë made him gain new friends, he doesn’t mind being associated with Zoë’s gay friends they are all fun to be with. And he knows that Zoë also gain new friends by being with him. Pi and Yuu often invite Zoë to dinner. He sometimes think that if they we’re caught by paparazzi he would not be the one to be issued with Zoë but either of his friends.

The party in Tat-chan’s house was a huge success. All their friends are there and also the juniors. Imai Tsubasa drop by for an hour to interact with their kouhai. Even matsujun and Aiba Masaki showed up. Pi bring Yuu with him. And even some of kanjani8 guys attended the party. Zoë was exhilarated all the beautiful faces stripped off of their facades. Just enjoying themselves no worries of being Un-idol-like. Being their true self and enjoying time with friends is a best way to spend Christmas. After tat-chan’s party Pi, Yuu, Ryo , kame and the couple drop by Shirota’s home to party as well. And It was already morning when they return to their own houses to rest.

After Christmas, Jin and Zoë drive mr. Chen to the airport. While driving back home, Jin told Zoë of his surprise.

“Babe, do you have an American visa?”

“Yes why?”

“How about spending New year in LA this time?”

“WHAT?!”

“You know, I feel like enjoying some free time with you without those paparazzi. Going to LA is a good idea. I also want to visit my friends there.”

“Oh, it’s so sudden. But I can travel anytime. That’s one of the perks of being a photographer I can travel without worries.”

“That’s good. Our flight is scheduled on Jan 1^st. right after the countdown we’ll be going to the airport.”

“Wait how did you get the ticket?”

“We’ll buy it today. I already called the travel agency to make reservations we just have to get the ticket.”

“Okay..”

After the countdown, the couple met in the airport where Jin told Zoë to wait.

It’s an early flight and they have 12 hours to travel. Jin being a celebrity was given a seat at the back so he won’t be recognized and the seat given to her was just next to him. They are in the business class section so the place has an exclusive aura. They spend the traveling time dozing off, holding hands while sleeping. They didn’t notice the glances that the attendant’s have on them. They’re too tired to care.

Los Angeles, Zoë and Jin both love this place. To Jin because it’s his second home and for Zoë because when she was young her dad and mom often bring her here to have vacations. Like Jin, Zoë loves to travel, but it seemed ages since she last visited LA. After her mom’s death, her vacation time was usually spent in Italy where her grandparents reside.

Jin enjoyed touring Zoë around LA. He introduced her to his friends that made during his study here. She noticed how one girl eyed her but she didn’t care. She learned that when Jin stayed in LA she became his girlfriend but Billy, jin’s friend, told her to just ignore the other girl. And that she did. Jin is an attentive boyfriend he never let her out of his sight. Their 3 days vacation in LA was full of fun and precious private moments. They shop and dine or just carelessly walked around. At night they spend partying with friends or going around the lighted streets of Hollywood.   

Jin was so happy that he asked Zoë to come with him. He truly enjoyed spending his private time with her. She is his inspiration after all. Work becomes easy because he knew somebody is waiting for him whenever he finishes work.

CHAPTER 8 – PERFECT 

“Akanishi, I have something for you” Maru came up to him after their meeting.

“What is it?” Maru handed him an envelope.

“Ticket for my show I got it together with my parents VIP pass. It’s for Zoë”

“Hontou?! Arigatou!”

“It’s the same date that all the members are coming to watch. I took the initiative to let us meet with Zoë”

“Okay, I got it. But how do you plan us to meet you?”

“Ano, I told the manager that she is my sister’s friend. So if you don’t mind getting her to my house and then she’ll get to the venue with them”

“I owe you. I’ll tell her later”

“Hey, you two, what are whispering about?” Kame asked as he approached the two people talking silently, behind are the Tat-chan, Junno and Koki.

“I got Zoë an extra ticket so she can watch with you. And we’ll meet her too” maru informed him.

“Really, we’ll be meeting her at last” koki butt in.

“Okay guys, cool down we don’t want others to know about her okay. I’ll be looking forward though” Ueda said.

Jin was happy that his band mates are eager to meet his girlfriend but inside his heart he felt a bit scared. Johnny will be there for sure because it’s the last day of Maru’s stage show. And they are all going to Maru’s last day to congratulate the beat-boxer for a job well done.

“I’ll let you meet her but behave. She’ll be Maru’s sister’s friend so I won’t be introducing her to you. Just act normally” he asked his friends like Zoë was a precious thing he want to be for his eyes only.

KT-TUN understands Jin wanting to protect his girlfriend from the ferocious Johhny. Letting Johnny know that she is Jin’s girlfriend is like sending the Zoë to a room full of beast.

Zoë parked her car in front of the Maru’s house.

The day before, Jin and Zoë went to visit the beat boxer at his house and to introduce Zoë to the kind hearted people she will go with to the concert. It’s been agreed that Zoë will fetch them to prove that she’s a friend of the Nakamaru family.

After fetching the family, she drove to the venue.

“Don’t be nervous” Maru’s mom comforted her “we’ll protect you. Even though my son work for Johnny’s we can’t always agree with the rule he selfishly implements on his talents”

“Arigatou. But I’m really nervous”

“Jin will be there. So don’t be afraid.” That’s Maru’s sister.

“Zoë-chan, don’t worry too much. You’ll have wrinkles in your beautiful face” the man of the family tried to cheered the worried driver.

When they reached the venue, the staff knowing the Nakamaru family lead them all to the VIP seats. KAT-TU was not yet present in the venue. They’ll be arriving later to avoid commotion.

She felt her cell phone rang.

“Moshi! Moshi!”

“Where are you now?”

“I’m here at the venue with the Nakamarus. When are you going to arrive?”

“We’re on our way there. I’ll see you later”

“Hai. Baby, don’t worry too much about me. I’ll be fine.”

The hall was already full with audience. The DJ has announced that the concert will begin soon. After the announcement the hall suddenly went dim and a commotion started in the entrance. Some fans are shrieking going Kyaa!!! That moment she knew that the others have arrived.

She glanced at the person who came up beside her. It’s Tat-chan, next to him sit Jin, Kame, Koki and Junno. The 5 members greeted Nakamaru’s parents politely and his sisters too.

“Guys, I want you to meet Zoë, she’s a friend of my eldest daughter. Zoë, I know you knew them already, but this is Tatsuya, Jin, Kazuya, Junno, and Koki.”

“Hajimemashite!”

“A-re, it’s Zoë-chan. Jin, didn’t you recognized her? She’s the photographer from Cinema the one you did a month ago” Hiro-san their manager recognized Zoë.

“Long time no see, Hiro-san.”

“Please enjoy the show, Zoë-chan”

“Arigatou! I’m sure it will be fun” Zoë tried to sound cheerful to conceal her nervousness.

The other 5 breathe out a sigh of relief when their manager let the matter go and proceed back stage to see how Maru was coping.

“Ne, Jin you want to exchange sits?” Tat-chan teased Jin.

“Fuck off. You know I can’t do that so don’t tempt me.”

“Shh.. The show is starting.. Stop hissing at each other,” Kame warned them.

At the end of the show they gave Maru a standing ovation and everybody went to the backstage to congratulate Maru. After greeting Maru, Zoë gave him a small present wrapped elegantly in a blue paper and she bid everybody goodbye because she still has work the next day. Maru will be going home with his family so she doesn’t need to drive them back. Jin’s face showed annoyance because he wants to go home with Zoë but they have to be discreet.

One day, Jin received a message from Zoë, “Baby, I got a good news, will treat you to a dinner at home”

When he got home however everything was dark.

“Tadaima” Jin shouted in the dark

“Okaeri” a voice from the balcony answered him

“I got home as soon as I can and honestly when I entered the door I thought you’re not in and something happened to you.”

“Gomen, gomen, I thought it would be romantic if we eat in the balcony”

Jin glanced at the table setting carefully arranged for tonight’s dinner. The table has a one-stemmed yellow rose in the center; plates and utensils are arranged like that in the hotel, their balcony light is the only illumination.

“It’s like a date in a five-star hotel. Let me change first and I’ll join you, give me 2 minutes”

“Okay I’ll just get the dishes in the kitchen”

“Do you want me to wear a tuxedo?”

“Baka, I just want the dinner to be sweet no need to dress-up”

They dined while sharing to each other what they did the whole day. Jin can’t hide his curiosity anymore.

“Baby, what is your good news I’m itching to know it already. Please don’t keep me in suspense.”

“Okay, I won the best photographer award all over Japan. My company urged me to send an entry last March and it seems that the judges liked them.”

“Hontou?! So there are also awards for photography?”

“Hai. Like you actors, us photographers have also awards giving bodies. My photo collection will be used to make a tourist travel book of Japan.”

“You have such collection?”

“Yes, it’s a collection of my photos since I came here. Last year I made a promise to myself to travel all the regions and prefectures of Japan. From those travels, I’ve learned to love Japan more. There are lots of beautiful places here and the people are friendly too.”

“Do you travel alone?”

“Sometimes I drag Sam and the other with me. But most of the time I go alone. I also join excursions conducted by tourism companies.”

“It’s rewarding, ne. Being a photographer makes you feel freedom. Have you travel again this year, did you travel the whole Japan?”

“I’ve traveled twice. Sadly, I wasn’t able to go to smaller islands so I haven’t really explore all of your country’s hidden pride.”

“When I have a longer vacation, let’s explore Japan. I haven’t really explored my own country”

“Ne, you want to see the photos? It’s in my laptop. I even have it posted in my personal blog but I kept it locked because of the entry.”

“I’ll look at it later. Let’s toast for your award. Cheers” Jin raised his wine for a toast”

“Cheers. Thank you”

“Will there be award ceremony?”

“Yes.”

“Can I come?”

“As much as I want you to be there but I checked your schedule you have an outdoor shoot that day for Wink Up. I really want to accept the award with you by my side but you know it’s impossible for now since there will also be media there.”

“Oh, I’m sorry I can’t share that night with you”

“It’s fine I’m fully aware of the situation. But I know you’re happy for me so I can bear anything”

“I’m proud of you really, really proud that I want to shout it until my lungs burst”

Zoë leaned to kiss him. She still can taste the steak they ate from his mouth. The kissed was meant to be short but Jin stood up to deepen the kiss more. They passionately kissed, tongue clashing together, arms tightly holding each other’s body. It’s a mind-blowing kiss that they have to break for a while to gasp some air.

“Let’s mind the dishes later. I have to congratulate you properly first”

Jin led her inside kissing her wildly more daring than earlier. They entered the bedroom still lip-locked pausing for short-breaths. Their hands can’t get enough of each other’s warmth in the process undressing their clothe-clad bodies. Loving each other, caressing with hunger and too much passion, riding the tide to reach the point of release, dancing wildly with the fire that’s eating their body and soul.

“Babe, that’s the best congratulatory gift I received in my entire life”

“That was wild but so satisfying. Would you care for another ride to heaven?”

“Sure, but can we do the dishes first. “

They spend the rest of the night giving each other the pleasure each of them hungers for until exhaustion and sleep claim their fervent desire. At this point, they couldn’t ask for more because everything is just perfect.

CHAPTER 7 – heavenly Days

After cartoon KAT-TUN taping, in the dressing room, the 5 members are staring at the guy who was fidgeting with his cell phone smiling like a fool while sending a message to someone.

“Kame, what happen to Jin?” Maru asked they’re youngest member.

“He’s been like that for a week now. I admit, I like it he seems so happy” Ueda seconded.

“Did he tell you anything?” Koki asked

“Ano..” junno was about to speak

“Stop right there, okay, Jin was like that because he is in love.” Kame answered to stop the endless questions of the other members

“And that person is the one he calls regularly after our concert ends?”

“Yes, she’s the one. Her name is Zoe Chen, a photographer for Cinema Square.”

“She must be really pretty and sexy for Jin to be so enchanted like that”

“I haven’t really met her, so I can’t say anything more but when I saw her at the bar when Jin dragged me, I can say she’s sexy and attractive too.”

“She’s a foreigner?”

“Yes, she’s Asian and I think she also has an Italian heritage. Am I right Jin?”

Jin walk towards them, “Yes, her late mother is half-Italian making her a quarter. Her mother’s parents are residing in Italy”

“Hontou? She must be striking then.” Maru chirped

“maa, you can say that. But still you can’t meet her yet.”

“Why in the hell not?”

“Come on, we won’t steal her or anything we just want to meet her”

“Someday you’ll meet her, but for now she’s for my eyes only.”

“Have you introduced her to your friends?”

“Yes, actually it’s Pi who introduced us. She was present on my birthday celebration in

Janji.”

“Sou ka. So it’s only us who are in the dark, well, except for Kame” Koki frowned at him

“Ne, Koki don’t be envious if me, I just have a glimpse of her, he hasn’t even introduce us properly yet.” Kame defended himself.

“Oi! Stop arguing Jin will introduce her to us when his ready. But Jin better be sure that you’ll be ready SOON or else we’ll be force to use harsher method” Maru teased JIN

“Harsher method? Oi,oi Maru are you threatening me? What method is it?”

“Umm.. Perhaps, stalk you? You hate that don’t you?” Maru continue to tease

“Why don’t you guys, just go home already and stop pestering me” Jin shooed his friends.

“Maru still has some rehearsal,” Ueda said. “We’re not pestering you we’re just hmm… curious. Come to think of it, someone tied down the certified playboy Akanishi Jin.”

Suddenly Maru came up with a bright idea.

“Jin take her to my stage show”

“She said she wants to go to your concert and tat-chan’s concert, but she’s afraid of paparazzi.”

“Well, I’ll think of way to let her stay in the relatives seat”

“Arigatou. I’ll tell her later when I fetch her from work.”

“Jin do you want to drink with me while waiting for her?” Ueda asked Jin “We can stay in my place I need some advise regarding the song I’m writing”

“Sure I still have 2 hours to kill anyway”

“Guys, you want to join us?”

“Pass. I ‘m visiting my niece tonight” Kame declined the invitation

The others “pass” also. So it’s just him and Ueda left to go to latter’s house.

“Your girlfriend is still working at this hour?”

“Yes, she’s helping with the layout of their next issue”

“I see, well, I can’t wait to meet her. She’s not your usual type of girl. I mean your girls are mostly models and artists. But this one is different. I can see she’s good for you I haven’t seen you so that happy since you returned from LA”

“I’m happy that I found her. Well, we started in a wrong foot but maybe that’s a reason why I came to like and love her. There are still things we don’t know about each other but gradually we’ll get to that. I wanted to introduce her to you guys, but the opportunity hasn’t come up yet. Maybe Maru can help me with that. After helping Ueda with song, he left the boxer and went to fetch Zoe at the office. When he arrived she’s already waiting in front of her building.

“Hi babe”

“Hi baby, have you been waiting?”

“No, I just got here Sam has just left. She’s having a date with Rob.”

“Have you eaten dinner?”

“hai. And you?”

“hai. So let’s go home now?”

“hai. I can prepare a late snack for us. I’ve got some pasta and garlic bread at home.”

After their confessions, Jin sometimes stays at her place to spend the night. It’s been weeks already. They are happy now that they’ve expressed their true feeling to each other. One thing they just have trouble is they can’t date in public because of the so-called JE rules. So they usually eat in Zoe’s house. Jin was contented he feels really cared for. Zoe is a brilliant cook, they both love pasta and pizza. There was time that she baked a cake for him and his family.

“Babe, Mom is asking when she’ll meet you?”

“What did you tell her?”

“I’ll bring you home tomorrow”

 “It’s fine with me. The only problem is I can’t go at your house with you. Maybe there are some fan girls waiting outside your house.”

“Don’t worry nobody is camping out outside our house this morning”

“No, I think I’d better go there alone. Just wait for me there. I’ll bring my car I’ll be fine.”

“Babe, gomen ne. We can’t be like normal couples that go on date and meet each others parents.”

“Babe, it’s okay. When I met you I already know that it will be like this. Knowing that you love me everything is going to work out just fine.”

“Thank you for you understanding but still I hope for us to go like normal couples”

“I also wish for that. Time will come we’ll date like others”

“So tomorrow I’ll go home earlier than you and wait for you at the house. Don’t you dare chicken out.”

“hai, I’ll be there. I can’t let you and your mom down.”

“Everybody will be there including my brother. He’s been wanting to meet the one who baked the cake I brought home last time.”

‘I’ll bring a cake tomorrow. Will you help me bake it before you go home?”

“So what are we watching today?”

They watched one movie before going to bed, where they end up making out. Making love with each other has been full of pleasure and contentment. And sleep was so peaceful lying in bed, limbs entangled with each other.

Mornings are always beautiful, to sleep and to wake up with the one you love, nothing can beat the heavenly feeling. For Zoe, Jin is the one like Zoe is the one for him. They know that there will be troubles and storms that may come their way; people will try to separate them. They take each day as precious as any other day. One step at a time they say. They know that their friends and family will support them any obstacles will not hinder their relationship from blossoming into something more.

“The sun will rise soon let’s drink coffee in your porch to see the sunrise”

It has always been their habit to wake up to see the sunrise even the sleepyhead Jin was enthusiastic every morning they wake up together. But after watching the sun whenever he has no work in the morning he always return to sleep. He always stays with Zoe on weekends but he goes home every weekdays. He doesn’t want to disturb Zoe’s sleep whenever he has to work late at night or until wee hours. Zoe want him to also have time for his friends and family, she said she don’t want to monopolize his time. He realized that she’s someone who respects her boyfriend’s privacy; her trust to him was 99.99%. In return he always send her e-mails and give her phone calls with every break he have. If it’s possible to spend 24/7 with her he’ll be in heaven. Good thing the concert is finish and there is not much schedule yet just their weekly TV program.

Zoe was driving her car to Akanishi household with the cake they baked that morning. It was a blueberry cheesecake. Despite looking calm she has butterflies in her stomach. She’s not scared meeting Jin’s family but she’s kind of shy. Jin has gone home 1 hour before she headed to Akanishi household after debating on whether they go together or him to go first. In the end she win the battle. Jin had called her 10 minutes ago to inform her that there is no one lurking his home.

At last she’s in front their gate. She’s pondering whether to ring the doorbell or call Jin to fetch her in the gate. After getting out of her car and locking the door, she walked towards the gate.

She hasn’t pressed the doorbell when she saw someone walking towards the gate its Reio. He opens the gate and let her in.

“Jin’s been waiting for you by the window so we knew that you’ve arrived.”

She just nodded feeling shy all of a sudden.

They’re near the door when Jin opened it and pulled her for a short embrace.

“Ehrmm…”

“Dad, Mom this is Zoe Chen, my girlfriend. Zoe, they are my mom and dad and that’s brother.

“Good afternoon. Thank you for your kind invitation. And it’s so nice to meet you.” Zoe politely greeted Jin’s family.

His mom come towards her and gave her a gentle hug, his dad gave her a handshake and Reio greeted her with a “Yo”. They didn’t meet at Jin’s party because Reio left early and missed her.

“Oh, for you, Akanishi-san.” She gave his mom the paper bag with cake. In there, there are three small boxes she especially ordered from a store in Japan that sells her country's pride items.

“Thank you. Now, you’re here let’s eat lunch. Call me Okassan”

Lunch have a very amiable atmosphere. Jin’s parents are accommodating and they tell her Jin’s childhood antics. Zoe loves the way Jin’s family supported him. They even welcome her as part of their family and so far she’s the only girl he brought home. Zoe shared some stories about her as well. When his mom learned that her own mother passed away when she was still young leaving her in her father’s care she told her it must have been hard. And Jin’s mom was amazed to learn her mom’s half-Italian having the same heritage as her.

“So what’s your dad’s work?” Jin’s dad enquire

“We run an Italian restaurant business. We have 2 branches. My father also inherited a small hotel from my grandparents.”

“Who help him manage them with you being here?”

“My cousins help him. When I’m still living with him I managed the restaurants and my dad the hotel.”

“How about your mom’s parents do you visit them often?”

“I usually spend my summer vacations with them. But when I started working, I’m lucky enough to spend a week or two with them every year. I haven’t visited them yet this year. I’ll probably visit early next year though. They’ve been urging me to manage their vineyard and winery business. But it’s still far from my mind to takeover. Not yet.”

They were all sitting in the porch when the doorbell rang.

“Okachan, let me eat you cooking” Yamapi whine as Jin’s mom opened the door.

“Tomohisa, you’re such a kid. Come on in. Zoe is here she baked us a cake. I’ll give you some. Or do you want some rice?”

“Zoe’s cake is fine. Where is she?”

Together with Pi, Akanishi’s place erupted with laughter and smiles. Zoe enjoyed their company. When the afternoon came she bid them goodbye, she has to go to the supermarket for grocery. Jin wanted to go with her but Zoe did not budge from her decision to go alone. Defeated, he just walked her to her car.

“Thank you for coming. I can see my family love you already. Pi obviously adores you”

“Thank you also for inviting me. Here, this is my gift for you.” Zoe pushed a card in Jin’s hands before getting in the car. “I would have love to kiss you right now but I won’t. I’ll call you later”

“I’ll come home later after I send Pi home. I’ll wait for you there. Drive carefully”

“Jaa ne”

“Jaa.”

Jin hurriedly opened his card. It’s card with a drawing of a girl sitting in a swing and the boy pushing the swing.

Dearest Babe,

Surprise! I want to thank you for sharing your family with me. No words can express how much happiness I feel inside. I wonder when can I introduce you to my father too. I really want to thank you for coming into my life. Loving me without hesitation and sharing your precious times with me. I know that it’s not easy to be in our relationship because of some unavoidable circumstances. But remember that no matter how hard it is. I’ll be bearing the hardship with you. Maybe we don’t date a lot but for me the times we spent together are the sweetest date I’ve ever had. Being with you is enough to keep me going. Seeing your angelic face the first thing in the morning gave me a wonderful feeling I can’t trade with any money in the world. I love you. I love you. I love you. “Hey, bakanishi why are you smiling like a fool?” He didn’t realize Pi was watching him from the door.

“None of your business”

“Go home now, bakayarou. I promised Zoe I’ll wait for her at home”

“Don’t hurt her okay. I really like her if only she’s not in love with you I’ll snatch her from you. But since I love my baka-mabudachi, I’ll just like her as a friend.”

“Pi, did you know that feeling, when you want to spend every time of your life with someone you love. I love her more than my learning English. I love her like I love my friends and family only a different kind of love. Like wanting to spend the rest of my life with her beside me.”

“I can’t answer right now. I haven’t love that deeply yet. But I can see you’re happy with her. As friends, we’ll support you. Just don’t let Johnny discover because she will surely get hurt. You know how it works. Don’t end up like me and Abi.”

“Yes, that’s why we take all the precautions we need.”

They reached the living room where his family is.

“So what do you think of her?” Jin asked his mom.

“She’s a sweet girl. She’s older than you right?”

“Yes, 2 years older but it doesn’t show”

“Yes, in fact, she looks younger than you. I like her Jin. As long as you’re happy Dad and I will be happy for you.”

“It’s time that you have a long lasting relationship, Jin.” His father told him. “ You deserve it and I know she deserves it too”

“Jin, don’t let her go. She bakes good cakes” Reio joked.

“You don’t mind if sometimes I don’t go home here?” Jin asked

“Not really. I can see that sparkle in your eyes and I haven’t seen it for a long time. Son, don’t worry about us. And you’re old enough to decide for yourself.”

“So I’m going home to her now. For me this is my first home because my family is here, but with her I also felt at home because I know she loves me like all of you do also”

“Go home now Jin.” His father lovingly supported his eldest child.

Zoe’s celfone is ringing but she can’t hear it because of the loud music but she felt it’s vibrating. She look at who’s calling her, Jin’s name was flashing on the screen. She decided to ignore the call and turn off her phone. She’s not up to having a confrontation tonight.

Sam was startled to see the person coming their part of the dance floor.  Zoe and Rob are busy talking and dancing that they didn’t notice him. The person stop behind Zoe…

“What’s wrong Sam, the cat got your tongue?” Zoe asked her.

“No, I think somebody’s looking for you”

“Who?”

“Well, he’s behind you”

When Zoe turn around the man she just ignored was standing right behind her.

“Hey, Jin. You’re here!” trying to hide her surprise

“Isn’t it obvious? Ano, can I borrow your friend?”

“Sure” Sam beamed at Zoe.

“Let’s have some coffee” Jin invited Zoe.

“Okay, do we really have to talk right now?”

“Yes, as in now”

“If that’s what you want”

Jin held her hand and led her to the parking area where he left his car.

They arrived in Starbucks; they decided to just take out the coffee to avoid being recognized.

“Mocha Frapuccino for me” Zoe told Jin when he asked what she wanted.

“Okay. Wait for me here don’t you dare run away”

“I won’t. “

He get back carrying a 2 brown paper bags the one with their drinks and the other with croissants.

“ I haven’t eaten dinner so I decided to buy some croissant” Jin informed her.

“You haven’t eaten yet you went to the bar to drink. Do you want to have a stomach ache or severe hangover?” Zoe was worried.

“Are you worried about me?”

“Of course”

“Why?”

“Because I care”

Zoe’s sudden outburst surprised Jin.

“I care because you’re my friend” Zoe added nervously. “That’s close,” she thought.

They drove near the park and sat inside the car to talk.

“How did your concerts go?” Zoe asked to break the deafening silence. They’ve been sitting in silence for 10 minutes already.

“Fine. The six of us enjoyed the whole tour. And the fans too”

“I see you must be thinking of rest after the strenuous work? I mean you have concerts rehearsals and shooting for your show too.”

“We shoot some episodes during the concert tour since we can’t do it in the studio”

“Yeah, I’ve watched your Sendai episode when Kamenashi-kun, Ueda-kun and Nakamaru-kun became AD”

“You watch our show? “

“Yes, I find it entertaining and funny. Specially when you bully poor Junno or even Maru-kun” and to herself  “and to see you of course that’s the main reason”

“I’m touched, did you miss me?”

“Huh?! What kind of question is that?”

“Don’t answer me with another question. It’s a yes or no question only”

“No, I didn’t miss you. I’m buried with so much work I got no time”

“I missed you. Calling you everyday has become a habit. My day won’t be complete without hearing your voice”

Zoe stared at the person speaking she can’t utter any words.

“The 4 days I didn’t call or answered your mail is because I’m trying to sort my feelings out. My hand itched to dial your number several times. I even asked Kame’s advice. He said that I better sort things out first so I won’t hurt you. But it seems I unconsciously hurt you. I’m really lost those four days. But it made me realized that you’re someone important to me.”

Silence.

“I’m planning to visit you tonight. But I want to gather my courage first so I dragged Kame to go to the bar to have a drink or two. I was really surprise to find you there and annoyed that you’re dancing with a guy”

“You’re jealous?”

“Yes I am. I’m burning like hell”

“For your information I’m not the one interested in Rob we’re just dancing. It’s Sam who likes him and I think he likes her too. I don’t go snatching my best friend’s man you know”

“That’s good to hear but sexy dancing with him is not a very beautiful sight for me. “

Zoe is debating within if she’ll confess that she missed him too. There’s nothing to lose anyway. “Jin, I lied”

“What about?”

“I missed you. I wanted to see you or even hear your voice badly. It’s only 4 days that I haven’t talked to you but it feels like years. I’m thinking so hard if I offended you or something during one of our phone calls, I don’t know why you suddenly stop calling”

“You missed me???? Really???”

“Yes.”

“Prove me then. Don’t I deserve a hug”?

She leaned forward to hug him when Jin met her halfway banging his elbow to the steering wheel.

“ittai!”

“Baka. Come on I’ll give you a hug to ease your pain”

They embraced they didn’t know how long. It feels so warm to be hugged by someone you like.

“Zoe, daisuki da yo.”

“heh?!”

“That’s not the way you’re supposed to answer a confession. I know this is so sudden we’ve only known each other in less than 2 months… ”

“I’m shocked baka”

“So what now?”

“Jin Akanishi, you’re a baka, you made me go crazy but being that and all, and I know I like you too.”

“I’m not a baka!!!…nani.. You like me too??”

Zoe nodded in response.

“So It means we can go on date like I can call you anytime I want and visit you any time. Like your mine exclusively.”

“Yes. But don’t call me in the middle of work okay.”

“HAI!”

“If you don’t mind can we go home now? The sun will rise soon I’ve been up for almost 24 hours already”

“You can rest in the car. I want to watch our first sunrise together”

“Sure. I would like that also. I want to see your face early in the morning. Good thing there are no work tomorrow”

They rested inside the car while waiting for the sun to rise.

When the sun spilled it’s warm rays the “new” couple was standing beside the car holding hands.

“Time was never really a basis of falling in love with somebody. There will be times that you’ll fall so deep in a blink of an eye. The important thing is to treat the time you spend with your love one as the most precious times in the world. Each day is as important as yesterday and the coming tomorrows.”

CHAPTER 1 – THE DAY OUR WORLD COLLIDE

“Yosh! It’s time to party! Ne, Zoe, are you coming with us?” Samantha said after finishing all the materials that will be published on June Cinema Square issue. The gang consists of 5 people, Samantha Editor-in-Chief, Shou the assistant editor (a gay), Mika the layout editor, Jun who is in-charge in interviews (gay also) and lastly Zoe their ace photographer. Despite being foreigners Zoe and Samantha find it comfortable to be good friends with the other three Japanese. Their team have been working for over two years now and so far there have been few conflicts, mostly only about work.

Every weekend they often went to out eat decent foods since they always work overtime. After satisfying their stomach’s cravings they go to clubs to party and to relieve their stress caused by meeting deadlines and also from artists who have nothing to do but pull tantrums.

“hai! Chotto matte. I’ll just change my get-up” Zoe answered.

“Oh, you should or else I’ll deny you’re with us” Mika teased her. “Who ever want to be with someone who wears jumpers?”

“It’s my most comfortable clothes every time I set foot in the dark room you know… “ Zoe defends.

“Okay, off you go change in to something stunning so the guys will give you second glance” Shou shooed her.

After 20-minutes the gang was ready to chow and groove, they first went to their favorite yakiniku restaurant. They eat to their stomachs content. Talking about random things about the artists they work with during the week.

“I’ve photographed Ken Watanabe –san last Tuesday, he’s so cool. I feel so honored being able to capture someone who’s internationally recognized.” Zoe shared.

“You should have seen how she look when she met Watanabe-san, her jaw literally dropped” Jun said “to actually think it’s her third time capturing her idol”

“It’s because she liked him since she saw Memoirs of the Geisha” Samantha defended her best friend. She and Zoe have been friends since childhood, they both shared the dream of coming here in Japan to live and work. Now they’re fulfilling their dream and they can say with where they are now, they are contented. Of course, coming here have been tough at the beginning since some Japanese are partial to foreigners and being girls add up to reluctance of being hired. They even have to study short-term courses to add to their resumes.  It’s a good thing that they both came from a well-off family so financially they are doing well during their study-period. But to get work experience they also work part-time. Zoe had worked as cashier to a furniture shop and Samantha worked in a convenience store. They even work in a pizza store, Mister Dougnut and other odd jobs. Through hard work they were able to penetrate the world of publishing. There they met their 3 Japanese friends. The only thing missing is their love life; they haven’t met their destined one. Mika-chan has a boyfriend already who is currently working in Hawaii. Jun and Shou their gay friends well they just enjoy being gays. They have been open that sometimes the gays flirt with the guys they meet in the bars. For Samantha, she went out on dates to search for her “ONE”.  Zoe, despite being a party animal, doesn’t usually go on dates. She just went out when Samantha urges her to go on double date. For her, the right one will come at the right time. She flirts at the bars but nobody has the chance to take her home.

After eating, it’s party time!

They decided to enter a newly opened bar in Ropponggi Hills. It’s their first time going there… the club was extravagant and posh. They went to a vacant table and ordered their drinks.

“ So what are we going to have?” Jun inquired the other four who are busily scanning the dance floor.

“Let’s celebrate today Don Perignon, kudasai” Samantha ordered the waiter. “It’s on me”

“Our pleasure” the other four chirped.

It has always been that way… someone who feels extravagant every time they went out to drink will volunteer to pay. Every week they alternate who’ll treat them. Paying was never an issue.

“yosh! Sam and Zoe I pray you’ll meet your destined ones tonight” Shou declared.

“Let’s dance” Mika lead them to the dance floor.

“You gals, go ahead me and Jun will search for our prospect boyfriends too” Shou declined.

“Okay, good luck” Zoe said before following the other two to the dance floor.

The music was deafening but they move their bodies to the groove. Dancing and grinding hips with all the party people in the dance floor. The three girls love dancing it’s one thing they share. They even make dancing their exercise.

They’ve been enjoying dancing when suddenly some people stop dancing. Some girls squealed with delight.

“nan de?” Zoe looked around to see whose causing the ruckus.

“Oh my God, it’s Akanishi Jin’s gang”, Mika exclaimed. “They’re all kakkoii”

Mika has been a JE fan for so long and somehow she’d influenced the other girls. Yamapi is her ichiban. Zoe like Jin for his voice and sexy body. Samantha has like Ryo because she love guys with raven black hair she describe him “manly’.

They’ve been working with artists and idols for so long but it never seem to stop them from being mesmerized by these good-looking idols. Akanishi’s gang consists of Yamashita Tomohisa, Nishikido Ryo, Shirota Yuu and another guy name George.

The celebrities noticed that they are being stared at. They decided to enter a lounge where the regulars usually sit and enjoy their drinks. 

“Let’s drink first” Pi urged his company.

“Okay, I don’t want to be mobbed” Jin replied.

“Bakanishi! People won’t mob you here. People who enter here are those who can afford and other artists” said Yuu.

‘Let’s go to our usual table and dance later” Ryo chided them.

“Jack Daniel one bottle,” George told the waiter.

Since the opening of this club they’ve become regular customers here. Despite the admiring glances and few squeals nobody dared to touch them or even take photos. People who came to Club B are elite and mostly foreigners, but sometimes there are also fans that came to stalk their idols.

After consuming half of their Jack Daniel, Jin and Pi decided to dance. They spotted some models they knew and decided to party with them.

The dance floor was full of people swaying their hips to the music, hands held up high, some stomping their feet. Different ways of dancing making the floor more rowdy. Nobody mind bumping to one another.

In Zoe’ group, the 2 gays suddenly join them.” We can’t find someone we like” they said. They are having fun dancing wildly to the equally wild music when…

“ittai!” Zoe grunted. She felt so annoyed that someone bumped her stepping into her foot causing her to lose her balance.

“Hey watch it!” Mika assisted her to straighten up.

“Gomen.” A voice apologized.

Zoe glanced at Mika she looked like someone hypnotized. She’s staring, to add up her friends are openly staring at the man behind her. When she spun around, now she know why instead of defending her, her friends was star-stricken by Yamapi.

“ A-re, Zoe-chan! It’s you. It’s been long time. Gomen I stepped on you” the angel-faced actor greeted here.

“Yamashita-san, long-time no see. It’s okay, nothing major.” She replied.

“Who are you with?”

She felt a tugged on her dress.

“I’m with my friends, Mika-chan, Sam, Jun and Shou here”

“Hajimemashite”

“I’m with my best friends too. This is Jin and the others are in the private lounge drinking.”

“Hajimemashite”

“Are you sure you’re alright? Gomen, my friend is so into music he tripped you.”

“It’s okay. Ne, Yamashita –san , Akanishi-san, we’ll see you around. Enjoy the night”

“Zoe! Confess!” her friends confronted her when they reach their table.

“What about?”

“How come you know Yamashita-san and you didn’t tell me?!” Mika burst out.

“Well, because I didn’t really believe he’ll recognize me again. And the day we met I’m so full of schedule. I completely forgot our meeting.”

“How come you know him when we’re always together during photo shoots?” Jun inquired.

“I think it was when you called in sick that I have to both our jobs. That’s why I’m so busy that day because I have to photo shoot and interview them all in 1-hour. It was during Kurosagi Movie promo. Remember?”

“ah hai, I remember.”

“Whatever, why did you drag us out of the dance floor when we have cross path with those guys?”

“Because my foot really hurt I think it’s scraped when the sole of his shoe tripped me. And also my heart is beating so fast, I don’t want Akanishi-san to hear, okay?”

“So you’re fighting so hard not to stare at Jin?” Sam teased her best friend.

“Of course, I don’t want to embarrass myself you know.”

Meanwhile, after dancing and having one drink with the gravure models Jin and Pi went to their friends.

“You know that Asian looking woman and her Japanese friends?”

“Hai, Zoe-chan from cinema Square magazine. We worked together during Kurosagi Promos. I remember her because she asked me if I can speak in English and she did the interview using both Japanese and English. She’s really a photographer the interviewer is sick so she’s tasked to interview me.”

“She speaks English? She’s fluent?”

“hai! English is her primary language”

“You seem to know her well:

“Nope, we only talked 40 minutes. But she’s intelligent and frank plus she also has sense of humor but they say she’s also a snob”

“A snob but a club-goer”

They reach their table, Zoe forgotten.

“Let’s go to the restroom”

“Okay”

“Girls we’ll go ahead and find ourselves someone” Jun said

“You girls take care ne. Don’t go home too late” shou seconded

“hai. I’ll be going home soon. Yuta-chan will be calling me soon” Mika answered. Yuta is her boy friend. They often make long distance calls to each other.

“we’ll stay a bit until 2 am” Sam answered

“jaa ne. take care. See you on Monday.” Zoe bid them farewell.

“Mika are going to tell Yuta-chan you met Pi?”

“of course I’ll make him jealous so he’ll visit soon”

“BAKA!”

Mika has long gone home. Sam was speaking to some guy she get a chance to dance with. Zoe was alone at the bar drinking. This situation was normal.. Either Sam or her goes home together since their apartment was on the same building or she goes home alone. Sam will be having ‘a little chat” with her new friend. She don’t get mad as long as Sam is happy she’ll be happy for her best friend.

Zoe decided to go home after her drink, she’s a little drunk already. Somehow she feels happy, she met Pi again and got a chance to know Jin personally. She’ll be sleeping with a smile on her lips.

“Hi!”

A voice behind greeted her.

“Can I buy you a drink?”

“No, thank you.”

She pulled a bill from her purse and left it in the bar.

As she turned around to leave,

“Playing hard to get, ne?”

The guy grabbed her arm. Luckily, the bartender saw that.

“If you don’t want to be thrown out let her go.”

Zoe hurriedly went out of the bar. Waited for a taxi. At least the guy didn’t follow her, she felt her night was spoiled because of that pervert.

“Damn! Where’s the taxi when I badly needed one?” she muttered to herself. She’s feeling a bit nauseous.

“I’ll see you guys tomorrow. I’ll go ahead I got rehearsals tomorrow”, as Jin said his goodbyes.

“Concert’s coming up soon, ne. ganbatte!”

“Be careful. Go straight home and don’t pick up girls on your way” Ryo teased him.

“hai, no fooling around, you want to be rested tomorrow” George added.

“wakatta! Jaa ne.”

“Jaa”

Outside the bar...

“at last here’s a taxi” Zoe raise her hand to hail the taxi.

The taxi stopped a few feet away from her, when a hurrying bastard open the door and let himself inside the taxi.

“Oh shit!”

She’s right on time, to stop the door from closing. “Whoever he is he’ll hear something from me” she said to herself grimly.
