CHAPTER 4 – Stubborn Chick
KAT-TUN concerts will start tomorrow. Everybody is so excited. It’s a once in year occasion where they can interact with their fans. The tickets for the concert was sold out their manager informed them. They all pray it will be a success.
After the final rehearsal, the 6 idols gathered for a dinner together.
“Let’s go to the karaoke” Jin invited the 5.
“Baka! You want to tire your voice? No after eating let’s all go home and rest” Kame opposed Bakanishi.
“Hai, Sir!” Maru teased
After the dinner they went to go home. The other 4 had left. Kame approached Jin.
“hey, Jin do you have a problem?”
“Why do you say that?”
“Well, yes you laugh but there are times you just sat alone spacing out. Can I help you?”
“Like there is something you can do. Even I can’t do anything. She’s so stubborn.”
“Oh, a problem with girl? Is it Uehara-chan?”
“No, we’re not dating anymore. The relationship ended ages ago. We just went out on dinner or two but nothing more”
“Who is it then? Someone I know?”
“Nope, I met her in the bar. Actually, Pi introduced me to her. She’s the photographer of Cinema Square. She’s a professional and held a college degree unlike the models I date.”
“Oh she’s someone special already?”
“Sort of. I don’t want to blurt things out because I’m a man. And I don’t want to kiss and tell but I’m bursting inside”
“Try me. We can go to my house and talk there so no one can hear”
“Okay”
At kame’s House…
“You’re place is really neat. Every thing is organized ne. That’s why girls fall for you”
“Stop yapping about my place” he gave Jin a bottle of beer. “Now spill everything out”
“We met in the bar, when Pi accidentally trip her while dancing. It turns out they knew each other. So he introduced me to her and her friends, she’s Asian you know. Anyway after the accidental meeting we didn’t saw each other in the bar. We met outside the bar again I took her taxi from her. She’s about to spit bad words on me when we recognized each other. So I asked her to get in I’ll drop her in her apartment. In the end I assisted her to her home because she’s a bit drunk.. Then, everything happened so fast. I just intend to kiss her while sleeping but she’s so angelic that I stole a second kiss. Then I realized she’s kissing me back. Then it started there”
“Oh, so what’s the problem with that I think she also likes you, I mean girls make out with the guys they like you know.”
“But I’m her first.”
“You mean, she’s a …”
“Yes, she is, don’t say the word I can’t say it and don’t want to hear it. I really feel guilty because we didn’t used protection. I think I hurt her in some way I don’t know.”
“Have you spoken with her again. You did a shoot for Cinema a couple of weeks ago right?”
“Yes, but she’s stubborn. She thanked me for the care. And she said there’s nothing more”
“So you want more?”
“I don’t know. I’m lost”
“The best thing is wait and think how you feel about her. Just go with the flow. Concentrate on the things you have now. Don’t let other things bother you for now. This concert will start with us 6 again. Can you promise me you’ll just enjoy yourself now? I’m sure that’s what she likes you to do. She might be trying hard to move on herself. So enjoy the concert it’s our payback to all the fans that supported us all these years.”
“I’m trying my best. Can I sleep over I don’t want to go home now?”
“Sure. So I can also be sure you won’t be late on our call time”
Jin realized that Kame has always been someone he can talk to in the end of the day.
It’s now KAT-TUN’s second destination. The concert Sam’s gang is scheduled to attend. They have good seats. Everything is fine except for her friend who sat fidgeting with the uchiwa they gave her. Mika was kind enough to buy them uchiwa and penlights. Without knowing the situation she gave Zoe, a Jin uchiwa that the other girl accepted reluctantly. She’s holding Ueda’s uchiwa (she likes Tat-chan too specially when he’s sporting that black hair on their debut) and Mika Kame’s uchiwa (because she’s also a fan of Shuji to Akira).
The Concert started. Somehow Zoe’s tension rose up. She decided to enjoy the show and not get herself affected by just one person. KAT-TUN is her favorite JE band, when she heard Taboo. Her inhibitions were forgotten. She shouted together with her friends.
There was a break, as they waited for the evening concert they decided to get something to bite.
“What do you think about the concert guys? It’s so fun..” Jun asked.
“The intro was unique and the… Zoe spoke only to be interrupted by the ecstatic Sam
“Great!!! Ueda’s so kawaii, and his muscles are so love… I’m still not used to his brown hair though he looks more pretty with his black hair.” Sam gazed at the roof imagining Ueda.
“Sam, wipe your mouth, you’re drooling.” Zoe teased her best friend.
“You’re just jealous because Jin hasn’t looked at your direction yet. Maybe tonight he’ll notice you” Shou teased Zoe.
“I hope he won’t..” Zoe whispered to herself.
The second con….
“Look Zoe, Jin’s heading this way… maybe you can catch his signature card” Mika poked her.
She turned to look at the approaching man.. It’s really Jin and he stop just in front of her and her friends. She tried to hide her face with the uchiwa..
“JIN!!!” she was surprised at Mika’s loud voice causing her to gaze at her friend.
“Look at him Zoe, kakooii!!!”
Jin’s attention was caught by the girl who suddenly screamed his name, that’s not to surprising but he thought that girl mentioned Zoe… to his amazement the girl next to the one who shout was his Zoe holding his uchiwa while trying to cover her friend’s mouth.
When they did the ‘tsk he stared directly at her daring her to challenge him. Too bad their gazing battle ended when he was supposed to go back to the main stage. The good thing is their MC will be in the stage nearest to Zoe’s group.
On the way home they are on the train…. Mika, Jun and Shou are sleeping they’re tired due to so much screaming and jumping during the whole concert.
“Ne, he noticed you right?”
“Yeah, I’m really embarrassed, what if he think that I’m stalking on him?”
“And purposely threw his signature card towards you. Let’s me see maybe he has a note for you”
Zoe pulled out the signature card that she got from Jin. She really hasn’t expected that Jin would do that.
“uhm.. Seems like normal signature card. “Thank you ‘*heart*” Jin. Sendai””
“Let me see” Sam snatched the card from her “ there’s something in the back “I miss you stubborn chick”
“What?! Let me see”
“See for your own eyes I’m not joking you know. He really aimed for you to get the card.”
True, it’s Jin handwriting. And me, stubborn chick?
“Damned that Bakanishi!”
“So he’s missing you. Well he doesn’t need to wait long because we will be attending the premier for his movie. So you better behave yourself so no one will notice there’s something going on between the two of you”
“hai. I’ll try my best not to kick his ass”
“Maybe you can buy him a gift as Cinema’s gift for his birthday”
“You buy the gift yourself I have no time for the that. I got so many photos to edit”
“You’re just running away from him and maybe from yourself too. I thought you’re trying to move on?”
“I have” Zoe, defended herself “Am I really running away?” she asked herself.
